Super Bowl 53 Review

Super Bowl 53 is being looked at as one of the worst Super Bowls ever. A low scoring 13-3 victory for the Patriots, giving Tom Brady his 6th ring of his legendary career. This game lacked the jaw-dropping plays we’re used to seeing in the big game. It consisted of bad quarterback play, mediocre running, and about 100 punts. Lots of people are trying to argue about how it was like an old-time matchup, saying it was a strong defensive game and low scoring. That’s not the case at all. The “GOAT” Tom Brady threw for 262 yards and an interception, while Jared Goff threw for 229 yards and one interception. On top of that, the “best running back in the league” Todd Gurley, put up 35 yards on 10 carries and no touchdowns.

The commercials were the best part of this Super Bowl. Seeing an Infinity War teaser trailer along with the numerous Bud Light commercials distracted everyone from the dull main event.

Overall this Super Bowl is going to be a very forgettable one. The lack of big plays caused the fans to abandon the television and greet the snack table.
