“I made bulletin boards and little activities for a kindergarten class at Emerick. My activity was playing tennis and staying in shape, and my service is going to Emerick and volunteering for kindergarten.”
“I’m interning for my brother’s company that he started when he was in college. I’ll be working with the developmental team, so a lot of creativity, and like creative thinking and that kind of stuff. And for my activity, they have dogs in the office, so I’ll take them on walks and throw them their toys and stuff.
“And then for my service, I’m serving the restaurant community because my brother’s company helps service restaurants, so I’m serving the food and beverage industry”
“For creativity and activity, someone from the School Board came and asked to make plaques for the front of podiums around the county; so with Mr. Mitchell and Charlie Robey and Sam Welsh, we made plaques to put on the front of podiums with the new logos on them. And for the activity, I had to get ten goals in lacrosse.”
“My creativity and service component of my CAS project was a bilingual German story time at the Purcellville Library, so I read a book called “wo ist mein kleines Krokodil?” Which is “Where is my small crocodile?” And then there was a little craft where we made green clothespins and put teeth on them so they looked like little alligators.”
