The Loudoun Valley Track team is traveling to Heritage High School tonight for a quad meet. Dominion, Riverside, and Heritage are all going to be competing against our runners.

“I feel nervous, but confident in myself to perform well tonight.” Kit Conover explained. The meet starts at 5:30pm. Many runners are looking forward to possibly qualifying for districts or even regionals tonight.

The team hopes to win against the other teams tonight and gain another win for the track teams’ record. Norah Rivett, a sophomore that is running in the meet describes her nervousness for the meet, “I’m nervous because it’s my first time running the mile and I don’t want to burn out”

If you want to come to the meet you can go to Heritage High School and pay six dollars to get in if you’re not an athlete. Anyone is welcome in anytime.

“I’m excited to run a new event tonight and have fun.” Rivett said.
