The Viking News is edited and produced by Newspaper I-III students at Loudoun Valley High School. The views expressed are solely those of the authors or the student editorial board in the exercise of freedom of speech or freedom of the press and do not reflect the opinions of Loudoun County Public Schools or its employees. Editorials represent the view of the Editorial Board. Other viewpoints express the author’s perspective.
Our staff is dedicated to maintaining journalistic integrity, serving Loudoun Valley High School as a public forum and presenting up-to-date information and coverage on issues affecting the school and surrounding community.
Comments regarding the news or viewpoints expressed in the Viking News should be directed to the student editors, who are responsible for all of the newspaper’s content.

Our editorial represents the opinion of the Viking News editorial board, consisting of the editors above. Members who have a conflict of interest with an editorial topic do not partake in that meeting or vote.
Letters to the editors
Letters to the editors are encouraged. The Viking News staff views letters to the editors as essential to the journalistic process. The staff feels these letters provide a means by which readers can voice their opinions or views. The editors can be reached by email at: [email protected].

The Viking News welcomes opinions of those not on staff and appreciates feedback on publications and content, and we are always looking for good story ideas.
