Homecoming is back and the students of Valley are getting ready for the big game and dance. To get excited about it, the SCA has planned spirit days that correspond with this year’s Gloco theme.

The shortened week includes four different spirit days: Tuesday is starry night, or pajama day, Wednesday is lights out, or blackout, Thursday is lights on, or neon, and Friday is class colors.

Valley students enjoy some spirit days more than others.

“Starry night is the only day where you get to wear really comfortable clothes,” sophomore Jake Borror said.

“Either pajama day or toga day is my favorite  because it is finally toga day for me,” senior Rachel Collins said.

Some students feel that this year’s Homecoming will be better than last year.

“I think it’s gonna be great,” Sophomore Meredith Kula said. “I’m going with a couple friends and I’m going with someone else—I’m just really excited.”

For seniors, this homecoming is especially important to them.

“I’ve had fun in the past. I’ve gone to every one,” senior Collins said. “Might as well end it off strong.”
