Valentines Day Telegrams Preview

Valentine’s Day, the infamous holiday about couples. The holiday is finally rolling around again and people are getting excited, especially some of the students in CAMPUS of Loudoun Valley High School.
CAMPUS is trying to get kids to buy and send out small gifts like singing telegrams, roses, carnations, ring pops, heart lollipops, and Hershey’s Kisses. Singing telegrams are where a certain group of people come into a classroom and sing a song of the sender’s choice.
“When the groups are sent out for the singing telegrams on Valentine’s day, the more you send out to certain classrooms, it’s most definite that the teacher can’t teach that day,” Milka Nyamuhindu says, who is apart of CAMPUS this year.
We won’t know who the group of singers are until Valentine’s day, making it just a little bit more fun for the receivers of the telegrams.
Something new they are trying this year is dancing telegrams.
“There’s actually one group of ours that is dancing and singing this year.” Izzy Gracias, one of the members of CAMPUS says.
