On Saturday, Oct. 19, the International Baccalaureate Group of Mid Atlantic schools is hosting a college fair. The fair will be held at Gar-field High School in Woodbridge from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Registration is at strivefair.com. This will get you a barcode that the recruiters will scan so that you can get in touch with the colleges you’re interested in.
Transportation will be provided. The due date to register for transportation was Oct. 7. If you previously registered for transportation, the bus will meet at Valley, leave at 10:30 a.m. and arrive again at 4:30 p.m.
College fairs can be a good way for students to talk to colleges they’re interested in, learn more about them and strengthen their connection with the colleges.
