Have you ever heard of bubble tea? No? That’s ok, not a lot of people know what it is. Let me tell you about it and what I think about it.

Bubble tea isn’t just your ordinary tea. It’s a type of tea that’s made with iced green or black tea, sweet milk, sugar, and with little black balls at the bottom called tapioca which is made from tapioca pearls.

The only thing I don’t like about bubble tea is the tapioca. I find the tapioca balls disgusting and flavorless. They also have a really weird texture to it. Instead of getting tapioca, I get these strawberry poppers called strawberry boba. They are small balls that pop in ur mouth and they taste like strawberry juice. They add to the flavor to my tea.

I usually get my bubble tea from Bubbleology in Leesburg or Market Street Coffee in Purcellville. I like Bubbleology better. I find their flavors stronger and sweet, and they don’t make their tea a slushie like Market Street does. Tea is supposed to be a soft drink, not a slushie. Bubbleology gets a lot of good reviews.

I suggest you try a new drink, that will make your taste buds go crazy and get you hooked and obsessed.
