As Hurricane Helene made landfall on Sept.26, it tore through the southeast coast, resulting in over $30 billion in repairs.
This resulted in thousands of people having to evacuate and leave their homes and belongings behind which are now destroyed.
Loudoun Valleys leadership class invites you to join them on Oct. 21 and 22 to make cards for the victims of Hurricane Helene during your study hall block.
“We’re doing this because it’s our first community service project, and we wanted to do something meaningful and impactful to help our community,” Student Leadership teacher Sarah Weller said.
Just taking 10 minutes out of your day can help impact these victims and brighten their day.
These letters will be sent out to North Carolina Farm Bureau, a nonprofit devoted to helping advocate for farm and rural families.
