On Wednesday Oct. 23, IB Director Michael Skavarch is hosting a seminar during Viking Time. This seminar is teaching about time management skills and ways to balance out your time.
While it is geared towards IB students and helping them manage their more rigorous schedules, all students are welcome and encouraged to come.
Skavarch sent a Google form to sign up via both Remind and Gmail and the window to sign up closes at the end of the day Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Skavarch has held several seminars and meetings geared towards preparing students for IB classes. Even if you aren’t going for the full diploma and are only interested in taking a few classes, there are plenty of meetings that you might want to think about attending.
On Sept. 6 during lunch, Skavarch even held a meet-and-greet for IB students to get to know each other. There were even several meetings last year that went over classes and diploma requirements.
Also, on Sept. 26, Skavarch hosted a similar meeting about time management and ways to stay organized.
Even if you know you don’t want to go down the IB track, the seminars similar to this one might be appealing. Time management and balance are important to everyone.
