Tomorrow, in honor of breast cancer awareness month, is pink out. Every morning from 8:55 – 9:25 a.m., the school store is selling pink shirts for you to buy and show your support. Wear your most vibrant pink color and show your encouragement.
October is national breast cancer awareness month. The month invokes awareness in all Americans about the second most common death risk for women. A 2024 study from the National Breast Cancer Society found that this year more than 360,000 women were diagnosed with breast cancer. Even caught in the earliest stages, the survival rate for 5 years is 99%.
