Valley’s theatre department is holding a “Halloween Open Mic” night Monday, Oct. 28 from 7-8 p.m. in the Black Box. You’re encouraged to come in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize.
At an open mic night you can sing or play your favorite instrument, perform a stand-up comedy piece, show off some poetry and spoken word or anything else you feel shows off your creativity and personality.
Make sure to relax while performing and of course have lots of Halloween fun. Also, be sure to be respectful of other performers when it’s not your turn by being silent and encouraging.
