Tuesday, Oct. 29, Loudoun Valley welcomes the entire community to join them for Safe Night Halloween from 5:30-7:15 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for kids to come out in a safe environment and participate in fun Halloween activities. It also gives the chance for the students to interact with younger kids.
Each club will create different entertainment options, including the classic trick-or-treating.
SCA and history teacher Michael Vereb said that he thinks it’s amazing that the community can come and see that the students are doing great things.
“The kids look at these high schoolers and get excited to be able to interact with them,” Vereb said.
Junior Kate Weller is a volunteer for this event and said she attended as a kid, and it’s really interesting to have positions switched.
“I always really looked forward to it, and the fact that now I’m the student helper is really exciting,” Weller said.
