With opening night for Valley’s fall play, “Peter and the Starcatcher,” being this Friday on Nov. 15, various volunteer opportunities this weekend for the upcoming show are available and in need of helpers.
Each activity varies from 45 minutes to 2 hours, and are worth one NHS sponsored point.
The opportunities available include: ushering, cleaning, or setting up for the front house (audience side of auditorium).
Additional opportunities include helping set up the library, which will host the Cappies critics as “Peter and the Starcatcher” is Valley’s Cappies show for the 24-25 school year.
Viking Theatre Marketing President and NHS Chair Kate Caling finds herself loaded with preparation as we inch closer to opening night.
“This is a little more than the usual amount of stress I get when it comes to upcoming shows, and since it is my final large production, I want to make it a great one as appreciation for all the department has done for me,” Caling said.
