This year, Valley is hosting a giving tree to help families in need over the holidays.
This is an opportunity for students to spread holiday cheer by donating items like blankets, gift cards, lip balm, baking kits and more.
In the past, family liaisons asked families in need to make a list of what they needed. However, this was difficult and ended when schools shut down under the pandemic. Now the Sign-Up Genius is more proficient and makes sure that everything gets covered.
“I wanted to continue to provide families with some nice holiday treats and gift cards to purchase what they need. They seem to be very grateful and appreciative of this,” Family Liaison Mrs. Bucci said.
Donations are due by Dec. 16 and you can drop them off in the main office.
