Even if you are not going into the full IB diploma program, IB classes could still be something to look into.
IB Director Michael Skvarch is hosting a seminar to teach students about the different IB courses available to them Feb. 20 during Viking Time in the cafeteria.
Skvarch believes this seminar will be a good opportunity for students to ask questions about the IB diploma and courses.
“People have outstanding information, and I just want to be able to give them a venue to ask their questions,” Skvarch said.
There will also be IB teachers and students attending that will provide information about their experience. They will be able to answer any questions students have.
“It’s really about questions and answers, because a lot of information has already been shared, but there’s still some circulating questions that I want to make sure students feel well informed on,” Skvarch explains.
Skvarch has held several seminars, including one on Nov. 13, that has taught students about collaborative skills.
Like most of Skvarch’s seminars, all students are welcome to attend if they feel they might be interested in learning more about IB or feel they could benefit from attending, even if they are not taking the IB path.
The sign up closes at the end of the day on Feb 19. If you choose to sign up, a pass will be created for you during Viking Time.
