In an effort to decrease wait times and improve drink consistency, on March 4 Starbucks will be cutting 13 drinks off their menu. They are starting with drinks they deem “less popular”, complicated to make, or too similar to other drinks on the menu, with the end goal of a 30% menu reduction by the end of the year.

Day-to-day life for not only government officials and policymakers, but all Americans, including high school students, have become politicized down to everything you say, everything you wear, every step you take. And that’s intimidating.

Hi! My name is Claire O’Connor and I’m a sophomore. This is my second year on staff and my first year as an editor. I’m an editor for both newspaper and yearbook (hint: newspaper is my favorite.) I am the author of the music blog Symphonic Saturday, that comes out biweekly at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Outside of writing and photography, I play softball, sing in Valley’s Chamber Choir and am a member of SCA, LVSI, and Tri-M. I am partial to writing opinions and informative news pieces about everything from dramatic political developments to new music and pop culture. Newspaper brings me so much joy and purpose and I’m so excited to improve my skills in years to come with the Viking.
