The LVHS Green Team is holding a spring clothing drive. The Green Team began in Feb. 2018, but the clothing drive has been new the past two years.
“Our mission encompasses all the things that are important to Valley now and in the future, conservation, alternative classroom space and project based and personalized learning,” Mrs. Bucci, the Green Team sponsor, said. “We also need to take issues of environmental conservation more seriously to preserve our future on the planet.”
The items collected will be donated to local thrift stores, such as Blue Ridge Hospice, Clothing Closet and Graffiti and Silk.
Students can bring any teen clothing and accessories that are in good condition, not including shoes. The drive will go on through Friday, May 9, and bins will be located in the Viking Head and Foyer.
