The description of the senior CAS project is simple: develop a plan for an activity that allows for creativity, activity and community service. Nearly every senior chooses to do a CAS project, many seeing it as a simple way to get out of school early without doing all that much work.

For Ben Demase, however, his CAS project is a chance to make Valley history by writing, composing and directing his own original musical, “The Gunslinger.”

There will be stations set up around the football field where students can explore, learn more about different clubs, and participate in various activities. Swipe to see this week’s spirit week, and the updated class schedule for Friday.

Fall Virtual Loudoun Course Registration

If you are looking to free up room in your schedule next year, Virtual Loudoun is an option. You can take one online class per term and there are three terms. Fall/Winter, Winter/Spring and Spring/Summer.

“I did PE over the summer so I would have an extra elective for school and so it would make my freshman and sophomore year easier,” sophomore Olivia Cypcar said.

Registration for the Fall/Winter term opened Monday, May 19, 2025, at 8 a.m. and closes on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

If you choose to participate, classes will begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and end on Friday, December 12, 2025.

The final day to drop a course is Sept. 26, 2025. It will not show on your transcript but there is a $100 non-refundable administrative fee.
