The Local Purcellville Artisan tour is coming up from Nov. 1 and 2 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily). Here’s a guide for what you need to know.
This tour promises an artist’s dream featuring plenty of artists and galleries, with everything from gorgeous landscapes to intricate abstract art
“People can meet local artists and become involved in the art community around them,” IB Studio Art Student Lulu Depascale said. “They can look at community art in different styles and take inspiration from them.”
The adventure starts at 868 Estate Vineyard (14001 Harpers Ferry Road) and ends at Blooming Hill Lavender Farm (19929 Telegraph Springs Road) and includes eight immersive experiences and stops.

This multifaceted artist has many specialties including photography, painting and even ceramics.
Inspired by nature, Berringer is currently showcasing a waterfall landscape. Stop by 37797 Drawbridge Way to see her work.
Bodamer shares her love for pottery with the world around here.
She makes pieces that range from mugs to detailed plant pots and is heavily inspired by earthy textures, tones and colors.

Stephenson is a feltmaker, making clothing accessories out of pure felt. This creative designer raises her own alpacas and sheep to collect the resources for her felt making.

The art tour includes a variety of media and styles.
”It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to meet local artists, visit their studios, and connect with the artist community in and around Purcellville,” art teacher Courtney Kincaid said.
