If incorrect information was published at any time, the mistake will be acknowledged, and corrections will be made as soon as possible.

The Viking will tell the truth for as far as our knowledge goes, focusing on the important affairs of our school and community.

The Viking will produce content in a way that is fit for all readers.

The Viking will, to the best of our ability, perform in the interest of its readers and public influences, not to the private interest of its staff.

In pursuit of truth, The Viking shall be prepared to sacrifice its money or any other material it may gain.

The Viking will not be biased towards one, but will be fair and equal for the public.
Major headlines tend to shift more towards his shakeup of the bureaucracy with “shutting down” the DOE, ending USAID, or the havoc wreaked with the erroneous deportations.
However, not as much light has been shed on Trump’s foreign policy which is in response to an international system that is shifting before us.
Such shifts in perceived global threats and the position of the United States then begs the question of the world’s most prominent military alliance: NATO — and what its future entails, if there should be any.

The emergence of AI chatbots, notably Chat GPT, has brought forth various debates on the legitimacy of this tool in the space of academia.
First launched in late 2022, Chat GPT has a generally notorious reputation in academic spaces as it has only made cheating much more accessible and easier. Don’t get it twisted, the concerns AI presents to students are very real and valid.
But how far do these concerns stretch to where the very essence of using AI at all is erroneously demonized?

The description of the senior CAS project is simple: develop a plan for an activity that allows for creativity, activity and community service. Nearly every senior chooses to do a CAS project, many seeing it as a simple way to get out of school early without doing all that much work.
For Ben Demase, however, his CAS project is a chance to make Valley history by writing, composing and directing his own original musical, “The Gunslinger.”
