Claire O’Connor, Editor-in-Chief
Hi, my name is Claire O’Connor and I’m a junior. This is my third year on staff and my second year as an editor and my first year as Editor-in-Chief. I’m an editor for both newspaper and yearbook (newspaper is my favorite). I author the music blog Symphonic Saturday, that comes out 10 a.m. every other Saturday. Outside of writing and photography, I play softball, sing in Valley’s Chamber Choir and am a member of SCA, LVSI and Tri-M. I am partial to writing opinions and political news pieces, but write in just about all categories. Newspaper brings me so much joy and purpose, and I’m so excited to improve my skills in years to come with The Viking.
