Brief Concern: Trump Summit

North Korea just confirmed that leader Kim Jong Un is on a train to Vietnam on Saturday. President Trump is set to meet with Kim Jong Un on February 27 and 28 to discuss denuclearization. President Trump is optimistic that North Korea wants to denuclearize and believes that this won’t be their last meeting. Trump made history last year when he met leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore, since he was the first American President to meet with a North Korean leader. Some United States officials believe that Kim Jong Un isn’t making concrete steps to denuclearize like they said they would last year. North Korea would like the United States and other countries to reduce economic sanctions before they change their nuclear program.
