Spotify released its annual “Spotify wrapped” feature on Dec. 3. This gives users a detailed summary of their listening activity from the whole year. It shows your top artists, top songs, genres, total minutes streamed and other features. 

At Valley, students have been anticipating and waiting for their wrapped to come out. 

“I always am super excited for the Wrapped to come out,” junior Mila Garcia said. “It’s so cool seeing how your personality matches with your music and how it has evolved throughout the year.”

 When wrapped came out, many conversations sparked on how students felt about their wrapped. Here is what they had to say. 

“Mine was so accurate,” sophomore Hilda Crespin said. “ Watching myself change throughout the year was so fascinating.” 

However, others felt like their Wrapped was not accurate and were disappointed.

“I think Spotify Wrapped honestly just logged my music taste from the beginning of the year,” junior Alia McElroy said. “Like it didn’t even show my new music taste.”

Though some people had mixed feelings about how Spotify Wrapped was this year, there is a clear anticipation for Spotify wrapped 2026.

“I honestly really love Spotify Wrapped,” sophomore Shrinika Porandla said. “I can’t wait to see my Spotify Wrapped for next year.”
