Faith Casey, Editor
Hello, my name is Faith Casey, and this is my second year as a staff reporter. I’m a Senior at Loudoun Valley. I love writing opinion stories, and hopefully I can write more features this year. Journalism is my favorite way to communicate information and connect with my community. This school year I hope to collaborate with my peers to create some amazing stories and works.
In my free time, I love to write poetry and fiction stories. I also love listening to music, participating in service activities, thrifting, and hanging out with my friends. I’m a huge lover of dressing up and wearing lots of jewelry whenever I can. Over the summer, I work as a camp counselor, and I work babysitting jobs when I can. I collect stuffed animals, and there’s nothing I love more than animals, especially marine life.
Along with being a staff reporter, I also am an active participant in our Loudoun Valley Service Initiative and National Honors Society. I’m a teacher assistant for one of our English teachers at Valley, and my favorite class I’m taking is Creative Writing.
I’m so excited to create some amazing things this year with my peers!
